In Het Huis met de Kogel, a beautiful monumental building right opposite LUTTIK boutique hotel, coffee bar, concept store, we have created a spacious, stylish and unique apartment for (maximum) six people.<\/h4>\n

A place where you can feel at home, whether you come to stay for two nights or for weeks. The apartment offers authentic luxury in the form of our own LUTTIK style, history, a beautiful location in the old town of Alkmaar, an informal atmosphere and really wonderful beds.<\/h4>\n

The \u201cHouse with the Bullet\u201d is perhaps the most famous building in Alkmaar and has great historical value.<\/h4>\n

During the Spanish Siege of 1573, a Spanish cannonball hit the wooden facade of this house. The then residents were unharmed, but the bullet is ‘still’ in the facade of this centuries-old building to this day.<\/h4>\n

The apartment in Het Huis met de Kogel is truly unique.<\/h4>\n

Not only because our LUTTIK style is unique, but also because The House with the Bullet is such a special national monument.<\/h4>\n

The history and authenticity of the building provide a lot of atmosphere, but also the charm of authentic crooked floors, low-hanging historic beams (watch your head!), stained glass windows and beautiful, but very old, steep, wooden spiral staircases.<\/h4>\n

In combination with the LUTTIK touch of today, consisting of the use of natural materials and colors, original elements such as glass floor (parts), a desk with swing and a glass (insulation) wall for the entire wooden facade (restoring the original wooden facade construction remains visible), the apartment offers a stylish, cozy place for those who are looking for a special, attractive and comfortable stay.<\/h4>\n

The apartment<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”12px”][vc_column_text]The apartment has an entrance from the ground floor of Het Huis met de Kogel and is located on the first, second and third floors of the building.<\/p>\n

On the first floor you will find a hall with coat rack and a cozy double bedroom (Kingsize Hastens bed (180-210), possibly made up as two single beds) with stained glass windows and a view of the old city. There is also a spacious bathroom with shower, sink, separate toilet and a washing machine room on this floor.<\/p>\n

On the second floor you enter the lovely living room with beamed ceiling. There is a double linen sofa bed in the sitting area, a TV, a desk, a six-person dining table and an open kitchen with Nespresso machine, milk frother, kettle, induction hob, dishwasher and refrigerator.<\/p>\n

On the spacious third (attic) floor there is a beautiful large double bedroom with a king-size Hastens bed (180-210), free-standing bath, a sink and separate toilet.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]In the apartment, the master bedroom has a lovely double H\u00e4stens bed (1.80 x 2.10 m) and the second bedroom has two single Hastens beds (0.90 x 2.10 m, which can also be made up as a double bed). All beds (including the sofa bed) have airy down duvets from White CLoudz, fine linen bedding from Passion for Linen, soft cotton towels from House in Style and warm woolen throws.<\/p>\n

You will also find a hairdryer and wonderfully scented care products from Marie Stella Maris in the apartment.<\/p>\n

A baby bed can be placed in the apartment if necessary.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]The bedroom and living room on the first and second floor offer a view of the Appelsteeg, the canal and drawbridge. From the master bedroom in the attic you have a nice view of the famous Alkmaarse Waag, where the cheese market takes place in the summer.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]You can use fast WIFI for free in Het Huis met de Kogel. There is also an interactive TV with various foreign channels (English, Belgian, German, Italian).[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]
\nThe House with the Bullet is a centuries-old monument with steep, narrow stairs (with irregular shallow steps) and is therefore unfortunately not suitable for guests with mobility problems.<\/p>\n

There is no air conditioning in our historic building. Each bedroom does have a fan.<\/p>\n

The location in the middle of the lively city center obviously means that city noises cannot be completely kept out.

\nWhen you stay in Het Huis met de Kogel you can use the breakfast service of LUTTIK boutique hotel.<\/p>\n

Breakfast at LUTTIK\/Het Huis met de Kogel is a little different than usual. The ‘LUTTIK’ way. In the apartment (and in the coffee bar) you will find our breakfast menu. You can order all breakfast dishes and drinks in any combination separately (at the coffee bar) for the next morning. Would you please place this order before 6:00 PM? Please let us know immediately what time you would like to have breakfast.<\/p>\n

We can bring breakfast to the apartment in a picnic basket (between 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM), but if you prefer to have breakfast at a table set by us on the ground floor of Het Huis met de Kogel, this is of course also possible. Or in the summer on our terrace on the canal!
